"repeat Gear Selection"

I am a newbie. Thanks in advance for your response. I have a 745i 2003. Several days ago, everytime I shift the car to "D" or "R" I get the a "!"; "Repeat Gear Selection" and a gong sound (all simultainously). Also, same thing, when I come to a complete halt. Any ideas how to take care of this problem?

Also, not related above, I hear 3 beeping sounds. It does not trigger a warning message on the dash. These beeping sounds are sporadic and it does not go off due to any particular event. Can you help?

Hey how did you resolve this problem, i am having the same issue. if anyone out there know how to resolve this issue, it will be greatly appreciated.
