i had a lovely mini cooper,,was 2003,red,fast,fun,well made[ish]exciting,great
but boy,,was i hacked off with the rattles from the dash area.when i bought it,i thought i was getting a small BMW.what i got wasnt so good..windows rattled,went back4 times to dealer.dash squeaked a lot..so i lined everything with felt..just under all the trim,,to stop it from making noises.
then i had the windscreen replaced under warrenty.and that made the noises even worse..the dealer tried to remedy it but after 1 1/2 yrs of it all, i gave up!!
i was fed up with being in the car at weekends,,tracing all the squeaks.
fed up with putting felt here and there,,getting rid of 1 rattle,,only to find another 1 a week later..............so i part exchanged it for a REAL bmw..and now................
silence is golden,,really is great..i drive my car,,i hear the exhaust,,i hear the engine,,i dont hear anything else..
boy im really happy now
dont think the mini is a small bmw ,,it isnt....its good ,but it aint no beemer
