I'm waiting for delivery of my X3 2.5 manual 6 speed. The literature says the car takes premium unleaded. I have a couple of friends who insist there would not really be a problem if I use regular instead of premium. Are they correct?

NO

only put premium in it... if it requires it, then put it in.

It is made to take premium, and if you don't put it in, it wont run as well, and will probablly knock
