zoomzoom is an unknown quantity at this point
I brought up this topic on the "5" forum, and stimulated a lot of interest, and information, and some answers to my question. However, I am still looking for an answer for my 2004 X5 - 4.8, so, since this is the forum for X info - Can anyone tell me if E53 is the correct number for my X5, 4.8, and if so, what would the other X5s be. Are they all numbered the same regardless of engine size? Thanks, ZZ

the E code is for the chassis. all X5's (regardless of engine 2000+)

added, the 2004 has new options and soforth, but i still believe it falls under the e53 code.
