I have an E32, I would probably buy a new M3, but my dad who's almost 50 loved it and wants to get one in 2006. (he just bought a new Nissan Frontier and fell in love with my car, now i can't get him out of it)
Actually, the 750L/Li has replaced the 745L/Li, starting with the 2006 model year. And yes- the 750 is absolutely amazing... my Dad brought one home last Friday night. It's Jet Black/ Black and it happens to be the the first one in Atlanta. I don't know if there are other 750's in the rest of the country (I'm sure there are), but I do know that there's nothing quite like it on the road. I can post pictures if anyone cares to see them!

Haha, I'm sure the people looking for the 750 @ our local dealership are feeling the same thing- ghead- United BMW had their black 750Li on the showroom floor for just 9 hours before my dad took it home...
Yeah, the funny thing is....the guy who bought it is a lawyer and famous because of his commercials on television....but anyway...
He never has driven a 7-series (prolly not even a BMW)....and he bought it because he saw a 2004 745Li from the back....he was driving and saw it....and thought..."oh that'd be a nice car to have"....so he came in...(the day after we inventoried it and cleaned it up for the showroom floor)...and bought it that afternoon.
Then I was moving the 750Li to be programed and he (the new owner) said to the sales guy...."What have I just bought?"...and I was thinking...a really nice car.
An upgrade from a Mercedes E430...I do say so myself.
