For me it seems to small and for 20g I would rather have an e36M3.
I remember when the PT cruiser came out everyone was like wow look at that car, how cool is that!
now its just another car... I hope the MINI never has the same fate as the PT but I think it is a fad and will go away....
I mean... I would think its impossible to redesign the current MINI!?! and that talk about a convertible MINI... LOL
The think that makes a MINI interseting in my opinion is that many BMW tunning companies are comming out with MINI performance parts...
I kind of agree with you on some points. I also think it's too small for me. The complete lack of rear bumper makes we wonder what would happen if it got rear ended by a Suburban
As far as it being a fad, I can't agree there. The Cooper Mini has probably been around longer than you have, and I don't see it going anywhere (maybe it won't sell as strong in the US market, but that's mainly due to how our society loses interest in things quickly).
Redesign the current Mini? Maybe. Vert? I don't see that.

the coopers S was a blast to drive, although it had NO low end power. [/b][/quote]
you thought so? it was VERY smooth power though, imo....

not under 3000rpm, but it was so quiet and the shifter was so smooth i didn't mind the lack of power too much
