multiple 7 series issues

hello all newbie here with some issues....
i own a 1990 735i with the 3.5 in it...is that an e32?? and what motor code??
okay my heated leather doesnt work,the switch doesnt even light up... any help?
my check engine light comes on when sitting at a stop light or standing still while in gear for any longer then a few seconds and then goes out once i get the rms up...????
tail light/parking light goes out intermittently...i have changed all bulbs and still havent figured out why in the heck this keeps happening??
i have also been having a clicking noise coming from the rear of my vehicle when accelerating from a stop...it happens occasionally im thinking fpossibly a u joint or something??? any help on any of these issues would be awesome, i bought this car from the original owner about 4 months ago, he gave me all the receipts for anything that was ever done to it...all at a bmw dealer .... it rides better than alot of newer cars that i have owned it just has alot of little things that i would like to take care of
Is there a conversion kit for the new style headlights?? or the angel eyes ones?? Any performance upgrades that are fairly inexpensive ???easiest way to get a few more horsepower out of her??? thanks in advance for any advice and sorry for the run on problems...lol
