On the brochure for the 2005 X3 it states that the stereo has MP3 function. Does anyone know if this is actually MP3 playback or just an MP3 connection for an external player? used It would make me very happy to hear that it has MP3 playback.
I have the same doubt. I've just bought a X3 and the Business CD player as option because I read in the despcription of the option: "The CD player is compatible MP3", this is a translation of french.
Then in other models like the new series 1 it does not clear if this model "business CD" holds only a plug to connect an external MP3. Thing I would like to avoid, of course.
Can anyone holding a Business CD player confirms the compatibility of this unit to playbak MP3 music?
