Please bear with me as I am new to the BMW world. Firstly, it seems like the people on this forum really know there stuff. I was so thrilled to find this site tonight! I have found a 1990 BMW Il at a small local import shop/dealer. He says it has 89,000 actual miles and is a 1 owner vehicle. I have always liked the body style of the '89-'94 7 series, but know very little about the car. This vehicle looks absolutely mint. No scratches, dings, wheels are perfect, interior is almost perfect. It's amazing. They are asking $7900.00, which seems a little high based on NADA, but maybe not for the relatively low miles. My big worry is what would it cost to keep it running as an everyday car? What questions should I ask the dealer and what should I look for when I really inspect the vehicle? I just saw it over lunch today and didn't have time to drive it, but it is SOOO Pretty! I fear I am being awfully naive about buying a 14 year old car though. Thanks in advance to all of you. |
