Hello, I need to replace the MID unit on my 1995 740 IL , I have access to a unit from a 1999 740 il. Could anyone please tell me if these two units are compatible????? Thank you

not compatible as far as i recall, im not too sure to be honest but call a dealer and ask the service dept. if they arent co-operative than butter them up and say that youll be bringing the car into them to do the swap.

Thank you for the advice? I have tried the dealer before for answers but sometimes they are not very cooperative.
