if i recall corretly the 98 7's have a v-8 m62 motor w/ 350hp stock could this take on a 94-97 5 speed stock 3?

They arent very fast.. my 540i weighs less then a 7 does and while it tops out at 166mph (limiter removed) the gearing makes for less then impressive acceleration.

0-60 happens in a hair under 7 seconds, which by todays standards isnt blistering.. a cobalt SS or srt-4 will hand you your ass because they are light and geared low.
