They do have problems the same as any other cars, but are built to out last any other, I love mine to bits and have only had very minor things to fix, I would say go for it!! these will help

mines at 158k and still solid as a rock(well a very sporty rock) I Love my 99' and the gas milage isnt to bad eather(My OBC says 27.6MPG right now) over all just get one that was well maintained

my current car only get about 10/gal so at 23 im happy my most concern is reliability...im getting ride of my toy for a nice family car

If you keep them fully maintained around 500,000 miles.
