I hav a cd that will not come out of the single CD slot in a 2004 Z4 --- is there a manual eject button? can I remove the faceplate? dies the entire cd player have to come out?
Look in the manual for a "Master Reset" for the radio. This will have the radio initialize again and should....should....automatically reset the eject mechanism. If there is no reset, try removing the fuse for it while it is on. Good luck... Don't feel too bad about it...i've tried to make my single cd player into a changer before...thank god for pliers.
Should be warranty. Just take it to the dealer. If they cant get it out then they will replace the radio send the old unit back to BMW and then mail you the CD. With any luck they will get it out though.
