info about chip to change nav to dvd player

I was wondering if anyone has any information about installing a cihp in a 7 series that lets you play DVD's on the navigation screen.

Even though the NAV reads DVD, it can't play DVD's...the older NAV systems (with the right combo of button pressing) would access TV visual (it was a European option, kinda cool). Sorry if this isn't what you want to hear. Oh and dont open the NAV computer, it will void it's warrenty...

(P.S. : The 745iL is a E66)

Thanks for the info, i understand what you are saying. Some guy when the car was purchased told my uncle that he could take the car to mexico and get a chip changed that lets you play movies on the screen. That would be a waste though if it voids the warranty.
