Alright, lately the BMW has been running strange. It is obviously something about the cold weather fucking with it. My guess is that it's getting a bad reading and mixing the fuel wrong? Though I'm not too sure. I have lost so much power, and now I don't get shit for mileage.
This morning I started the car, went back inside to let it warm up. I go to leave and it idles down the street. I pressed on the gas, I went to the extint of flooring it and it wouldn't even rev up. It hasn't happened again yet. It didn't happen leaving from school and it didn't happen when I left not to long ago to look for some stolen property.
I'm going to run new plug wires, put in new plugs and replace the 02 sensor. I'm also going to replace the fuel lines and filter because they are old and busted... haven't noticed fuel leaking, but who knows.

your car is run by wire there is no direct conection from the gas pedel to the throttle. it is all controlled by the computer .flooring it only changes the reostat reading for the throttle position sensor..wich controls the motor controling the idle to full thottle on the manafold..you will need someone to test for fault codes..or get a manuel and learn computer diognostics...good luck...the other way is to disconect the battery to clear the computer then restart the car and drive it ..the computer will relearn to run the car..

Fuck it, I'm selling the car. I am sick and tired of the problems! It's one after the other.
The gas tank sprung a leak. I filled the tank and most of it leaked out. I'm done.

Thats bad news, the tank can be lined, but I guess from ^ youve had enough, well she is getting on a bit, pat on the back for you, for keeping her going so long, I hope she has treated you well before these problems.

sorry to hear you reached the end on this one....you car is fuel injected.and computer controled.not that it matters now.just a idea what is a gas tnk worth for the beast.?we all reach the point of no return and look for better or more reliable toys ...I am sure someone somewere will love you car good luck on your nxt car.
