Hey all,
im a newbie.
Well i have a 1988 750iL and my car starts oveheating really bad, i found out a hose was broken in the front and it was leaking water. Could this be it?
My second Question: Where is the Battery located?
My last question is; My car makes a loud beeping niose every minute or so is this normal, it gets quite anoying, or could it be becasue it was over-heating?
Originally posted by Bear@Jan 20 2005, 08:13 AM Correct the battery is under the left rear passenger side seat cushion and a bear to get the cushion back in.
Overheating, is it all of the time, at speed, in traffic, etc. If she overheats in traffic but is OK on the road, then I woul suspect the fan clutch.
If you email me I will send along some OBC tips as well as my way to remove/reinstall the rear seat cushion/s.
It seems like i have even a greater problem now... my car doesnt open when i put the key in! that sets back all the othersuff i have to fix... Can anybody give me any suggestion on why this happened and how i can open it???
thanks!
Danny
check your relays....that problem with the ignition happened to me. and it was a complete pain inthe ass. relays arent cheap. also check ur alarm system if you have one. that may also be causing a problem. and when u switch relays make sure u put the right ones in the right place....that also happened to me
