| I have a 1988 750 and I believe (always dangerous) the systems are similar, I have al arge washer fluid reservoir on passenger side that is siameesed (one small tank and one large). The small tank has a pump and feeds the intense system, the large tank is merely a reservoir (has no pump) and has a quick disconnect line at forward corner just below the low level float. Ths quick disconnect line feeds the head/fog washer tank located behind the right front headlight (US version). The lower tank has two pumps, one for the basic windshield and the other for head/fog. Headlight/foglight washing on my car occurs ONLY during the intense cycle and then every few swipes of the wiper arm. If this is your set up, then I would first insure water is flowing to the lower reservoir through the quick disconnect hose. After that I would pull the lower reservoir and try putting air through the lines (you can also pull the lowe pump and hook up the intense electrical connector to this pump, hit the intense lever and see if she buzzes or if set in a container of water does she shoot water). the pumps are avialable at almost any part outlet and about $25 US each. Hope this help and if you want more information, please Email me. |
