Has anyone installed a video module for a DVD player

I have a 2002 745i

Is it safe to install a video module that will allow me to add any NTSC / PAL composite or RGB video source to my OEM GPS navigation LCD display screen?

It will interface a video source such as a DVD player, TV tuner, iPod Video, reverse backup video camera, video game console, PC, aftermarket satellite navigation system or any other AV source directly to my OEM GPS Navigation LCD screen display.

Here's the link to the video module;

BMW 7 Series - 745i, 760i, 745Li, 750Li, 760Li TV Nav Video Input Interface. Connect a DVD Player, TV Tuner, Reverse Backup Video Camera, iPod Video, Aftermarket Navigation, Car PC Or Other AV Source To Your Car's OEM GPS Navigation Headunit - LCD Sc

Will this cause computer faults or problems? Is it safe???

Thanks

Interface

Yes you can put an interface in, I did it to mine myself and i love it. It adds just what the 745 was missing.
