Anything that you can eliminate the O2 sensor? so that the check engine lights will not come on?

They make O2 simulators but I dont know if I have ever seen one for a 7 series BMW.

Maybe try searching google it might turn up some better sources.

O2 sensors can be had from Autozone for 60-ish each.

I went to Autozone and they quoted me 112.00 per

There are two part numbers, you may need to ask for another year as they do have a screwup in their system. 61.99 was the price back in August. Have them check other years (95-01 all used the same sensors) if need be and/or make sure they're not quoting you post-cat sensors. They have them.
