erroneous check engine light codes

I have 750il here lately within the past month I have had a check engine
code was mass air flow code and cam sensor code for bank 1. So what I did
was reset the check light and see what would come back. the light came back on and it was the mass air flow code, since I had the cam sensor code for bank 1 I figures the mass air flow on the bank 1 side was bad. So I swapped the mass air flow sensor from side to side and reset the check engine to see what would happen, well the light cam back on and now It's the cam sensor on bank 1 code . So now I am stumped I bought the
cam sensor from bmw but I had to have surgery and have yet to put the sensor. I turned the light off before my Illness and my wife has been driving the car and the light has yet to come back on. So I am really not sure where to go with this any clues?

I have a 1992 735IL. The heater only works once in a while. I checked and there was no power to the fuses in the fuse box. When you hit a bump or something jars the car it will sometimes turn on. If you can help me out with this I would be grateful.

possibly a loose or corroded connection somewhere.
