electric windows not working

fastshivy 1st Gear Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Hiawassee Georgia Car: 1999 540i Posts: 163 Photos:	electric windows not working I have a 1986 735i and none of the electric windows are working. The fuse checks out ok and the power seats work. The seats are on the same fuse. Do they use a relay for the windows? if so is there a way to test them? Also..where would it be located. The car is an old rusty clunker, but runs good so I don't want to spend a ton of money on it. Thanks in advance for any help.

It turned out to be the lock out button. It appears there are two, one for all the windows and one for the rear only. Both switches are bad.
