e38 engine cutting out

Hey once again another issue, this time whenever i start the car the RPMs get low and it just runs rough and will cut off, even when i hit the gas it doesn't want to do anything. But I read this

Filter Problems

A completely plugged fuel filter will stop your engine cold by choking off the flow of fuel to the carburetor or injectors. The engine may not start, or it may start, then stall and die.

thats exactly whats happening to my car it starts, sputters, and will die. i changed the spark plugs but it still does it.

Sounds about right to me, its worth changing it anyway as they are supposed to be changed regularly normally inspection II , but I always check as once the dealer didn't do it!!!, but did when I said I would take them to court,

So go for that if this doesn't work get back.

thanks, now all i have to do is order one since no one around here has any bmw filters in stock, and im not going to the dealership.
