| E32 740 auto gearbox cooling by air not water
Hey guys,
I'm putting in a M60B40 V8 in my E28 M535i.
The only problem is, when i took the engine out, one of the lines off the watercooling on the bottom of the gearbox broke. because my M535i has a oilcooler for the engine oil (which i'm not gonna use for the v8) i was wondering if it would be possible to use the oilcooler for the trannie.
I'm not affraid i wouldn't, but i'm not sure if the gearbox uses a pump to pump the oil around the oilcooler which is underneath the trannie. Soo thats my question.
