It's about as quick as I expected from a stop, but quite a bit faster on highway pulls!

I noticed a couple faults with the car-

-Couldn't get the driver seat to massage.
-Either I suck at figuring out the radio, or one of the driver door speakers is dead.
-BMW logos on wheels and hood are ugly.

It seemed to drive perfectly though. Good, smooth power, good handling, good brakes.

I already tried, believe me! He said that their dealership does absolutely no haggling though. Considering that it's only going to be $8700 after licensing and taxes, I can understand that.

Someone on bimmerboards.com said that it's not a sport package as advertised, can anyone verify?

^ nope it has chrome trim...
Sports pkg cars look like this note the black trim around the windows and belt line of the car

On the iL it is really just and apperance package... on the i it would be a deal breaker

yep! Ha, you're right about shiny...I guess it has both the chromeline interior and exterior. It seems to be pretty loaded...any idea where I could find a list of E38 options?
