Cd Changer Problem

have 01 X5 with factory cd changer(guss its alpine) had no problem til last week when i try to play cds it gives me first "Check Discks" than it gives me "No Discs". the cd changer unit has power where it takes and eject cd mag. when tested my cd mag on another car it works fine.
any help....

just fixed it the tech i take it to changed the lenses(!!!) cost less than a $90. he told me that copied CD's(CD-W) cuze the problem.. told be better to use original CD's...!@#$%&?
