can't get em open
my trunk mounted cd player won't play or open and i have a tape stuck in the dash. what can i do to alleviate these problems...

Have you checked the fuse box and inline fuses?

no but i get a no cd error when i try to play them and tape unit trys to eject the tape but it wont come out. doesn't seem like a fuse problem.

Disconnect the battery for 20 minutes, both cables......

well the wife finally let the car sit long enuff for me to try disconnecting and essentially re-booting. no luck, still get the no magazine code. is there some way to manually remove the magazine. hate to take this to a dealer and spend 300.00 for something simple. the tape is still in also...
