I have my 1993 740i and I want to replace the Cabin Air Filter, but I have no idea where it is. If you may have a clue please advise me so I may breath better.

Cabin micro filter repalcement (you may not like this).
1. Remove glovebox.
2. Remove carpet trim (in right footwell) from center console.
3. Remove trim panel from above glove box.
4. Remove two screws that retain the vent duct and remove the duct.
5. You should now see the retainer for the Micro Filter, so, remove cover screw from top of micro fitler retainer and rotate the locking lever at the bottom of the filter retainer.
