A/C 89 735il blowing like heater

I have a 1989 BMW 735IL. I just got the a/c running again, but when the engine gets hot, it blows cold and hot like the heater is going at the same time the a/c is going. It is especially noticable when the button that sends air to all zones is engaged. In the winter, the heater seems to work perfectly. I disconnected the wires at the heater valves, but that did not make a difference.

Does the car have climate control? I'd guess there's a problem with the valve or whatever guides air to the heater core.

Yes. It has dual climate control. Two heater cores and two evaporators.

I would think then that one side thermostat is stuck on a high temp setting or the air director for one heater core is stuck.
