Brake dust on the wheels

I know this is common, but it seems my front brakes leave way too much dust on the wheels. They need wiped every couple days! The backs are not half as bad. I recall years ago I had these "brake dust shields" on my transam. Is there anything like that out there? Or a different brake pad that is near dustless??

Help!

Different pads can help. The so called "shields" aren't a good idea as they tend to block cooling ventilation (which, ironically, kinda makes things worse obviously).

I have never tried any personally. So I'm not ahead of you there.
