BMW v-12 electrical problems

I just bought a 12 7 series bmw v-12. For some reason the screen under the speedometer keeps saying check brake lining, or oil level low, it has brand new brakes and the new oil, also the srs light keeps blinking whenever the car is running, what causes these things 2 do this and how can i fix it.

The brake lining sensors were likely not replaced.

yes! sensors not replaced!

physically check oil level, if it is correct, suspect the oil level sensor.

SRS light blinking indicates airbag problem. a scan will help you decode the prob.(there are no shortcuts on this one- a computer drives the SRS system- it will take another computer(scanner) to decode the problem, and spell it out in a language we can all understand... ) :-)

Check you battery(s) and replace if low or bad.... my 740iL had random warnings....
