| I have just successfully installed a bluetooth retro kit for my 1997 740il (no nav).
I seem to need an upgrade on my microphone. (Transmission volume too soft)
Does anyone know a part number for the new mic and have any install tips?
Also: I haven't been able to figure out how to manually enter my contact numbers into the new system. The voice recognition system works fine, but it is the only way I have found to enter them, and they don't show up on the MID when I try to scroll up or down with the steering wheel controls. It simply says..."PHONE BOOK EMPTY". I saw some ducumentation that said you need to enter setup mode to input numbers manually, but it did not say how to do so. Any help? |
