Ok, some big dummy left my fog lights on all day.
Battery is dead, key will NOT unlock anything.
WTF? Is there a hidden post to put jumper cable to?
1993 740IL, Battery under back seat.
I took my window out ( another story ) and am getting a boost now.
Any answers? I'll check thread tomorrow.

I was able to put my hand on the lock inside the car, still would not unlock. Put the jumper cables to it and viola!
