Been there, tried that(getting someone to fix leather dash..will spend just as much $$$ as if you brought brand new dash) Done this...YOU DO THIS save your hair and sanity and get in touch w/ maximillian importing company
Maximillian Importing Company :: Mobile Traditon Licensee you will spend around $800 for a regular dash and $1500 for the leather dash. By the way the Germans have only 2 more left. I chose the regular dash because I didn't want the hassle of treating the leather dash for the next 10 years.
