Black paint, black leather, Southern California, leaky evap core. Do I need to say any more?

Looking for an evap core, expansion valve, and receiver/dryer. Was looking on Ebay and found an aftermarket core WITH an expansion valve already installed. The valve is stock, the core is aftermarket.

All for $112.00. Worth the risk?

For about $50.00 more you can buy a evaporator and an expansion valve from either Pelican parts or Zygmunt.
