Balz is an unknown quantity at this point
Greetings all (actually seasons greetings at the time of this post <GRIN>)

First off, I am new to the forum and would like to thank the sponsors for making this available. I had a forum up when I was racing Mazda's and it was a pain to maintain at times!

Secondly, I have a 1998 740i that I have been pondering the thought of putting Angel eyes on BUT, I am concerned about chopping, cutting, and drilling my current lens assemblies to pieces. I have done a good bit of reading in some of the other forums/news groups but did not get a real clear answer to a couple of questions that I thought I'd post here. I did go back through about 4 pages of archieves here, but didn't see anything on the topic area, so I am thinking this hasn't been discussed here in the past....

Questions...

1. Does anyone make a "plug and play" kit? My definition...You litterally pull your lens assemblies out (maybe ship 'em back) and just do some quick wiring and your done.

2. If above is yes, how is the quality, and if there is more then one, how do they compare to the 745's Angel Eyes? If I do this mod, I am looking for the exact same look as the 745s product. I have seen some complaints on some of the kits as to brightness and clairity of some of the products.

3. If I am stuck with the only the kit route...what are the opinions on the kits in relationship to the above? How would you rate them based on:

Quality (appearance as it relates to my definition of stock above)
Ease of Installation (most complete kit with NO major mods - least amount of mods, time to complete)
Maintenance (I am hoping these are all maintenance free, but one should never assume)
Price - always a consideration!

Thanks all in advance for your responses

I hope this framework will help others as well!
