'92 750il brakes

when i push on the brakes they do not want to respond and then will all of a suddun start to grab?? What would be causing this to happen?

Bad brake fluid, and possibly air in the brake lines.

Brakes

A bad brake bomb will give you the condition you describe.

brakes

When the bomb (accumulator) went out on my '99 750, the initial brake application resulted in little braking, then I took my foot off of the pedal and braked again, and the brakes really grabbed.
