I am about to begin work on a total respray... The worst areas that need attention are 'above and to the rear of the rear wheel arches' This is due to corrosion caused from old leaking/venting batteries before I bought the car
I am looking to source, ideally in the UK, replacement rear Wings/Fenders
BMW quote a very high price for new total panels and as the areas that require the repair work make up only a small part of the total panels (and I would prefer not to disturb the roof of rear glazing) I wish to rebuild my existing rear Wings/Fenders - cutting out the corroded and welding in parts from second-hand donor panels
I would be very interested to hear about any good quality second-hand rear Wings/Fenders for an 850 or 840
