Well, after replacing the ignition parts, including an oil filled distributor, and cleaning out the injectors a little, not a lot, and checking and fixing connections I have fixed most of my engine issues, it idles allright, with the signature roughness of the M30, but still, when I go to open her up, when I hit the gas to really get going it feels like it pulls at full power for a second, then loses it and accelerates slower, then gets it back, and somtimes loses it again. It has done this pretty consistantly whether warm or cold, so, I'm curious as to what it could be. Its got new Plugs, Wires, and Distributor, all bosch, and its just the bosch platinums not the +4's. So, what is causing this problem, I checked the fuel pump pressure, thats fine, 38 at idle, 43 when starting up, normal according to the book, so, whats causing this somewhat random misfire.

*Edit*
My brother after driving it said it might be since its old might be the motor shifting due to older mounts, so, perhaps its not a misfire afterall.....

If the M30 is anything much like the M20, have you pulled and checked your ICV (idle control valve) lately? They get gummed up, and sometimes stop working, and they will cause a somewhat erratic idle, and sometimes an in/out/in/out burst of power when you first nail the gas in the morning. Happens on my car, need to get it fixed. Anyways, it could be that.

Yeah, thats was something I was meaning to do actually, I'll give that a try, and see how she responds.

If you haven't already found and fixed the problem, I'd check for leaks in the air induction/ intake manifold system(s). Leaks would cause a loss of vacuum, hence likely run the car lean.
