Do I need to pull the fan off first when replacing the water pump? I will remove the plastic shrouds on the sides of the radiator and wonder whether I can slip off the whole assembly and take the fan off after I pull the pump. Am I wrong? I have ordered the pump and damn 32mm wrench for the fan clutch nut. I am also doing the t-stat. Anything to look for there? Thanx in advance for our input. JQ
M30 E23 + E24 could be a pig to bleed, sometime you have to jack the front of the car up and rev the nuts off it until the heater stay hot with the engine idling
