Hi guys.
For the last couple of days my computer every now and then is giving me a bong and displaying +38 temp.
It does this although the temp gauge is spot on in the middle with no real fluctuations.
There is the correct water level in the system and engine does not get to overheat.
can anyone help with what it might be.

Not to worry as ths is a built in BMW prompt and is the outside temp sensor telling you that the ambient temp is near freezing and be aware of icing conditions.
