Question

Hi,
I had a problem with my radio and I thought it was a short so I went to look and it turns out that it was a loose wire and I was able to get the radio up again. About 10 min later, I was about to leave, I went to start my bmw and it wouldn't start! I turn the key as far as it can go but nothing happens. It seems like it is trying but it sounds like the battery doesnt have the power to start the car, but that cant be it because it is a very new battery. Is there anything else that it could be?

BMW
'95 740iL

Thanks

P.S. I am stuck home until I fix this!

Think again. During the 10 minutes that you were tinkering with the car, the battery probably discharged. There are a lot of electronics on these cars, and the battery will go down quick.
It's the easiest thing to check.......

Wow, I just bought my 95 740i and I have the same radio problem. I mean all the lights is on the radio, but no sound. I think I should check the wires too.
