I am waiting on my new 2010 in January, changing back after 3 years w/ the S550 4matic.

The last BMW I owned was a 7 series and had a stage one DINAN package. I now understand BMW and DINAN have somewhat parted ways? It was "ho hum" anyways.

Does anyone know who out there has a programmer for the new 7 series?

I can only imagine how much more the car could be if the boost was turned up some.

Hope you enjpyed the Merc and will enjoy the BMW even more. As far as chips, I bet you'll be pleased with the Bimmer as is right out of the box!

I took one for the day from the dealer, hence why I decided on the purchase. Only, I am really hellbent on opening the turbos up.

There have got to be tuner companies out there, no??

You'll probably be down to having it privately re-mapped, it usually takes about 6 months (or used to) before aftermarket applications began hitting the market. start talking to some of you local reputable tuners and see if they would be interested in tackling this first of a kind project. might be able to hook them with the "you get the rights to the tech" line. cha-ching.
