2006 750Li Thrust Bushings

My 750 has 80k miles now and the dealer is telling me the Thrust Bushings need replacement? Anyone have a similar story? Are aftermarket Arms with pre-installed Bushings any better?

Welcome to the Werkz. What symptoms was the car displaying that the dealer diagnosed this problem?

Bushings 06 750Li

Watch the dealer that you use some BMW dealers are not honest and will try to sell you all kinds of repairs you do not need. My dealer last time I was in told me my bushings were showing signs of cracking and it would cost me $900 to replace them. He also told me I needed new rear breaks and new tires. I told him he was full of crap my tires were near new so he went out and looked and said they were ok. I went to my favorite BMW dealer in Denver almost a year later and he told me I did not have a problem with the bushings the tires still had 5/32 tread depth. Tire wear was normal. I had them replace the rear brakes.
