I Have A 04 745li But The Subs Under The Seats Stop Working, Any Ideas On Whats Going On?

So have you checked all the wiring under the seat ??

no but I plan to do that this weekend before taking it in to the dealer.............. i thought it may be the factory amp

If your subs aren't working they could be blown which i think usually don't happen to often unless you are a constant thumper 24/7, 7 days/wk, 365 yr. LoL. But i ran into that same problem on my 04' 745LI and i thought the subs were out because i couldn't get any base @ all and the sterio systems sounding terrible, crackling, popping noise, etc. I took it to shop and come to find out the amplifier was shot. I figured hell, if the sub is blown, i'm just gonna throw a aftermarket woofer in the trunk for base, hell with replacing a factory sub for that price tag. But also, if you have a blown speaker on the door etc., it will throw your whole sound system off completely.. Seems err thing is on one main circuit, one speaker blows, err thing sound f'ed up. But if you have no base, u may wanna check the amplifier......Good luck homie....
