2002 745iL driving window

Friend of mine owns a 2002 745iL that he just recently purchased. He has one minor issue with the driver side window. When he rolls it up it sounds terrible, as if it's going to snap the glass. Ideas? Common issue? Easy to fix or off to the repair shop for him?

off to the repair shop for him. the doors are pressure sensitive and if installed incorrectly it will set a code in the tmbfa and sbsl. also their a pain in the ass unless you have the special tool. The car is probably under factory warranty if it is a 2002. They exstended the factory warranty on 745 for 6 years or 100,000 miles. they are delightful

Had the same problem on my 745i passenger window. The dealer solved it by putting in a new regulator motor.
