2002 745 Nav

I have had for about 2 months now a 2002 745LI For the most part I love it I still have problem with the tire pressure computer but most new cars with that still have there kinks. My question is about my nav. Sometime when not driving on a main road say driving though a shopping mall parking lot my nav takes FOREVER to put me back on the main road. I could be driving on the main road for 5 mins and it is still trying to figure out where I am. The picure in the nav that would be my car just drives all over the map usally in a shaded area along side the road I am on. If the nav is on it just keeps telling to to drive to the main road. Is there somekind of adjustment that can be made to get it better on target? I had a 2001 Aucra with nav and it never gave me probs like this.

Think your car needs a software update through your dealer.

I've had about the same problem, on my street it puts me on an interstate...i wish i was...but it does take awhile. I'm taking mine in for its scheduled oil change, i figure ill get them to update the software too....Let me know if it works for you epr.
