2001 740IL Options - BMW Forum

I am considering purchasing a 2001 740IL. I have seen some with a small
screen for the GPS/radio/etc and some with a large screen for the GPS/radio/etc.
Why are there two different types?
Which type is better?
Can anyone provide me with a list of all the options available and what is
standard equipment?

the 2001 are mostly widescreen models. The widescreen is better just cause it's bigger and it's easier to use. Not to mention it looks cooler. It'll also take a TV tuner, dvd player and even reverse cameras without TOO much modification. Both are factory, neither became standard, but if one did it'd be the smaller one.
