1998 Z3 2.8 - Computer And Radio

hi all - new owner of Z3, love the car - couple of items i'm trying to run down...

1) the radio (has cd change in trunk) display sometimes is illuminated brightly, sometimes too low to read even at night - suggestions !?

2) the computer display reads 99.9 MPG and other values like miles to empty are off accordingly - suggestions !?

3) the illumination behind the tempaertaure control know is out - suggestions !?

other wise, the car runs great and looks fantastic - would you please help me bring this baby up to PERFECT condition !?

the light that is out behind the temp gauge is probablly just a burnt out light bulb. when the radio is dim is the tumbwhell for the brightness of the gauges turned all the way up. i'm not sure if it would control the radio too but it is something to check. as for the on board computer i don't know what is wrong with that.

take it to the dealer they can get a new bulb in your dash and hopefully diagnose the other problems too.
