This does not sound good, firstly didnt you notice the leak before ??, all I can say to try is : get some fluid in it, which is easier said than done!,as normally you put them up in the air on a 4 poster, as its pumped in to the side of the box, so basically you'll have to get it transported to a garage and push it on the lift, if you tow it no more than 40mph and 70miles in 'N', I dont think its possible to do without getting it up in the air as it has to be level.

If it still doesnt work after the above it maybe the selector switch, if this is changed and still no luck its a box rebuild or replacement.

Yes I have, all that I can say is you have a 50/50 chance, thats the bottom line I'm afraid, the last one I knew of was fried, the one before that was 100% good, so its just a matter of get the fluid in and see, when you do, put in 'N' and let it warm up for 15 minutes before you attempt to try the shift.

Yes, then it makes this loud noise and the tranny sort of jumps into gear (drive or reverse) after that it runs fine till I came to stop and have be careful by maintaining it in drive.. I noticed that if I step on the brakes hard or hold like that it doesn't jump or pops into gear(drive/reverse).. please help

Do you have a message 'Bong' up in the speedo cluster?, so how high do you have the revs before it starts to pull away? and does the whole car shake?

No, there is no Bong up message. I have to rev it to in between 1500 and 2000RPM and the car shakes loudly when it stars going.. but when I am cruising I have no problems..??

It sounds to me like the lock up clutch in the torque converter,I would advise you cease driving the car....if it is the T/C the box will have to come out to replace the T/C, if you continue to drive it you will wear out the forward drive clutch very quickly which will result in a total new/ replacement box...which of course you may already have worn the box considerably.

My advice is source a 2nd hand box including the T/C, but confirm the box has done under 100k, you will also have to do a fluid and filter change, I have the instructions if required.

Please do wait for other opinions...
