marti5 Help from over the pond Join Date: Sep 2008 Location: IPSWICH. U.K. Car: E38 1997 728i Individual Posts: 3,242 Photos:	Hmmmm... this is a new one...but probably a short in the ignition switch, the switch is located just behind the barrel, a black rectanguler box, you cant really miss it, but you will have to remove the cowls top and bottom to see it,,mainly the bottom one...I cant say this is the problem, but Ive never felt my key.... Easy to replace plug and play.... __________________ VELVET BLUE UK INDIVIDUAL , IM THE LAST UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL I stepped in a plate of Pasta the other day - now I have to worry about my Carbonara footprint!
